After watching the Winter Soldier movie I wanted to make a figure that did the character justice. The figure you see here is as movie accurate as I could make him, but with a few additional weapons and some hidden tricks. So what you are looking at is the latest figure from Kimota! Customs which was reviewed on Youtube and featured on Facebook! First, he has two interchangeable heads. Both are completely repainted to reflect the actor in the movie. The unmasked head is detailed and shows even facial stubble. The masked head has been modified to only cover the lower portion of his face like he had in the movie. The mask portion was hand sculpted and painted. You can pick and choose how you want to display him, simply by popping off one head and putting on another. Then he was given a knife on the back of his belt. The Winter Soldier liked to fight with knives in the movie and the factory figure only had sculpted knives that weren’t removable. This one is and remains hidden on his belt. I added grenades to the front strap to give him a more prepared and lethal look. He was given a new sculpted on leg strap with holster. The gun inside is a .50 cal Desert Eagle that is hand painted. In the film he had a submachine gun strapped to his back. I gave him an H&K MP-5 submachine gun that attaches to his back by magnet. The magnet remains hidden in the harness sculpt and not visible when the gun is removed. I liked the idea of him taking the shield in the movie and battle damaged the paint job on Cap’s shield. The paint damage reflects the shield in movie scenes and the movie poster. The shield can be held in his hand or can also be placed on his back instead of the gun and is held on by hidden magnets. Next, The Winter Soldier needed an assault rifle, which is hand painted to reflect one that he used while attacking Cap and the Black Widow. The Winter Soldier was a sniper in both the first and second Captain America movies. So of course he needed a sniper rifle. He is equipped with a hand painted Barrett .50 cal. sniper rifle to shoot at vehicles or assassinate targets. He was primed using Citadel primer, and painted using Citadel, Tamiya, Formula P3, Model Masters, and other paints. Some areas are glossy and some are metallic. He was then sealed so there would not be any paint rub issues. Thanks for looking! Check out my youtube channel for a video review or my facebook link above for more pics ![]() |
