This auction is for a CUSTOM Captain America from the Captain America: the First Avenger movie toy line. Cap was made from several different Captain America figures, basically Ultimate's Captain America and Super Shield Captain America. I used different parts from these figures to give him the "ultimate articulation" I promise you, you wont find a "Hasbro" made figure with the same articulation as this figure. He now has a ball hinge swivel neck joint from Marvel Universe Commander Rogers(not offered with original figure release) allowing him to look up and down very well as well as side to side, Ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows from SS Cap(not offered with original figure release), swivel wrists also from SS Cap(not offered with original figure release) swivel torso, ball hinge hips, swivel thighs, double hinge knees, and ankle hinge. He fits in very nicely with ANY 3.75 inch Marvel figures. He has been painted with a mix of Testors and Tamiya Acrylic paint. His shield is from the new Captain America: the Winter Soldier version of the Avengers Captain America figure.( sorry if this is getting confusing ) It has been repainted to give a more used " Battle worn " look. Most of this figure was just a simple heat and pop method. the neck hinge was more complicated I had to use a dremel tool to saw, cut, drill and mold the neck hinge peg in the existing neck but it actually turned out better than i hoped! and its really secure!
