For the Cheapskate Challenge contest, I remembered these Toys R Us True Heroes figures I had lying around. There're just five points of articulation and almost no actual paint work to speak of but the sculpts are surprisingly intricate and with some extra sculpt and paint, I thought I could make something from one of them. I decided to make a Red Hood; all that military gear could work for the character. I cut the binoculars off the head and sanded off the clip over his crotch. Then I sculpted over the head, sculpted the pads on the gloves, filled in the gaps in the back with the screws showing with sculpt, and then painted it up, including some red soles. Thanks for looking!
Awesome concept and custom of Red Hood! The tactical gear style really works for him. You made true heroes figure look more detailed figure with your great painting.
