After watching the Arkarm Origins Trailer, I got inspired to do something. At about 1:43-1:49 an explosion is set off and Batman jumps through a wooden gate. I tried to do this effect as a test for the DCC AO Figure. To get an idea before spending a lot of time on a 1:12 scale figure, I used a small Batman figurine.

Sandpaper for the walls, wood for the gate, and semi clear plastic wrapping for part of the explosion effect. I used combinations of paints, resins, and glues to produce this effect and a small LED flash light in back for the lighting. I have included 2 photos with no camera flash and one with a flash. LED back lighting is on in all the photos, but the room is a bit dark. The one with the camera flash is more clear, but reduces the explosive effect.
