Let's face it once again mattel dropped the ball when the made the Parasite figure. He's a pretty large character sometimes on STAS episodes he appears to be bigger than Superman. But mattel used the medium buck which was way too small. So I decided to make my own version of Rudy. I was going to use the mattel head since I thought they did a decent job on the sculpt. But it was too small for the body I was using & I wanted to go for a different expression so I sculpted my own. Then I wook the 10 pt of articulation Martian Manhunter & cut him in half so I could use his upper body. I went with the the 10 point articulation one because he had open hands unlike the 5 pt version. I didn't want Rudy to have closed fists, more like he was reaching to steal powers. I did heat his right hand up with a heat gun, so that I could open it up more & make him look like he was grasping at someone. Then I cut a mattel TNBA Batman in half so I could use the lower half of him. I ground down all the MM details & sculpted over the mess. I also sculpted over the elbow joints on the arms, then sculpted the 2 halves together. I was going to etch the lines on his body, but I decided against it & just painted them on.
