Good day to all. First figure for the day is for auction at ebay. We have here Prince Namor the Submariner in his classic duds! He claims to be "Ruler of Atlantis" like Aquaman, but I believe this guy more... Like he can rip Aquaman's arms off if he hears him saying that :D. He was made from assorted WWE Mattel parts, Namor wings and Conan’s head. The base body was reshaped/sculpted to give it a more fluid appearance. Sculping was done where needed and most went to the “Green-speedos-of-uber-manliness”. Each overlapping scale was sculpted 3D. Then followed by a matte-metallic-combo-paintjob. The colors on the speedos and gold were painted using the same technique employed by today's top statue-makers (Bowen,PF etc).

This is awesome. I really like how he looks as tough and manly as an Olivetti inspired Namor, but with a more classic, streamlined build. I Love that Conan head on this, too and think that mat add a lot of that toughness to this fig. Beautiful paint job, seamless sculpt work. Very inspiring work, my friend! Subtle, tasteful and yet super striking. Very impressive, LC! So friggin cool

wow Dave he looks amazing. So clean and the shading is perfect. You killed it when you first introduced that conan head for Namor. It fits so perfectly. Gives him a real strong middle age man look instead of a sweet little young prince face with elf ears. sickkkkkkkkk
