I was upset that Hasbro had no plans to make a Marvel Legends scaled movie Falcon figure, so I had to make one myself. This one was pretty time consuming, and I had my moments of self doubt, but I'm glad I pushed myself to finish it, because I think this turned out not too bad. The torso is from an ML Bucky Cap, the legs are from a movie Winter Soldier, the arms are from a Punisher, the head is from an ML movie Blade, and the wings are from an X-Men Classics Archangel. The head was dremeled and sculpted over and the face was reworked some to look more like Anthony Mackie and I added goggles. I sliced off the shirt pockets from a NECA Hicks figure and attached them to the Bucky Cap torso, used styrene for the zipper, sculpted all the fabric wrinkles in Aves Apoxie Sculpt, and used the harness straps from a Survival Suit Bruce Wayne. I replaced the hands with those from a movie Nick Fury figure. I took some pieces from an Ultimate Iron Man figure and used them for the armor on the back of Falcon's legs. The wings were definitely the toughest part. I cut up the Archangel wings some, and pored over lots of images from the movie to get the designs right. Several different types of styrene strips were used and glued down over the wings to get them to look right. Very time consuming. Very frustrating. But something I felt was important to do. Of course everything was painted accurately to the movie, down to the camo pattern on the pants. Last thing to do was to give him some pistols and a flight stand. And now Sam Wilson is ready to fight alongside Cap to take down any threat!

I am kind of glad that hasbro hasn't released a Movie Falcon so far because they never could have executed him as amazing as you did!

Man! I was reshaping a Snipes head last week to use for my Falcon but worried about how it would turn out. You have verified it legit with this figure... awesome job!

this is ridiculously good. Thanks to the reshaping of the jaw, I can really see Mackie there. And overall, the assembling, the wings, the paint are really good. Nice job.

I was concerned about how much it would look like Mackie, but looking at younger pictures of Snipes and Mackie I could see enough of a resemblance to reshape the Blade head to get it to look like him.

This is the new bar set for Falcon customs I know we are gonna see a lot of these but , now its up to anyone else to try to execute on this level . I love all the details my only even slight gripe is a I see Wesley Snipes in the lip/jaw region still but as per there is no Mackie head sculpt available I can live with it and just accept the awesomeness .

Yeah, the lip area worried me. It's definitely Snipes, but I was hoping with resculpting the top of the head and reshaping the face to make it thinner, plus covering up the eyes, it wouldn't be as noticeable.

As amazing as this custom looks I think the Winter Soldier's goggles would of been a better look. These current goggles look very off.

I can see what you mean, but I wasn't as concerned with the goggles. Those were all I could find on hand, and I had no extra Winter Soldier goggles, but I can see now how that might have worked. More flat against the face.

Anthony Mackie definitely stole the show. No telling why Hasbro didn't make a movie Falcon, but we got a really cheap, unneeded Red Skull.

I'm just glad the wings turned out how I wanted them to. They were very time consuming and tough.
