Been wanting to do this for ages but just couldn't find the right tactical vest to use. I eventually found one off a 7" wrestling figure. The removable vest needed lengthening and bulking out with a bit of sculpt but then bits of fodder (packs, pockets etc were added). I considered adding the little collar but thought it might be too much with all the straps from the weapons and pack.

I gave him a shave with some fine sandpaper and then repainted his face, body and arms. a gloss coat was added for the sweat sheen and dullcoat spray for his combats and boots. The grenades were made from ball joints cut in half with tiny metal clips and the ends of a small spring for the rings pull things (!) The Binoculars and weapons were collected from various other toys. The uzi and M16 had straps added and the vest straps were constructed and attached to the vest (these are removable also). The only things missing which I have yet to build are the rocket launcher and AK47 type gun he uses which I'll get to eventually. If anyone knows of a 7" figure that comes with a combat shotgun, please do let me know!
