Hello to all you great and mighty toy makers out there...sometimes with bootleg buster toys, we or "I" like to do and try something different.
Instead of customising or making toys out of rip off and bootleg figures or some times wooden manikins I like to make things from scratch.

The figure based of this toy or figurine I like to call it, was made from wires, which I'd double coiled with a power drill and make a skeleton embodiment of it.. covered the wire skeleton with Fimo clay (white)which needed to be oven baked in order to be rock hard , no too rock hard like typical clay but in order to be steady and non rigid.
I didn't have much of the Fimo clay, so I applied my favourite and always useful Milliput for the hands,belt and mask for the character...I even cooked the figure at same with the Milliput on it.

SO after that,I painted the figure with two or three layers a acrylic paint and add on the red,blue,peach and gold colours afterwards and made the cape out of blue foam.

Also this is a tribute figure for a famous cartoonist you might have know of called JAMIE HEWLETT...the man who created TANK GIRL and virtual band GORILLAZ.

Recently he has drawn two images for British Library, as he is doing an exhibition called Comics Unmasked: Art and Anarchy in the UK.

AS a Jamie Hewlett fan, I'd decided to make a figure that commemorate to the image of the exhibition and I even did a comic of the character too, make sure you find his work out and see the character I am talking about too.
