Hi everyone..Street Fighter 3rd Strike is a great game. Some even like it more than part 2 because of the great gameplay and graphics.
SF 3 was of mix of old & new generation fighters with excellent music to go along with it. This custom is of one of the new Street Fighter....Hugo's main rival ....Grappler/Wrestler Alex.
Alex lives in New York City training to become the best fighter in the world and hope for one day to fight Ryu and beat him to earn that reputation.
Marvel Legends and DC Universe are known for their BAF figures. Sota toys made some great Street Fighter figures but never gave us a baf. This is my chance to create one by making Alex easy to put together and take apart. The last picture shows five Sota 3rd Strike street fighter with one or multiple Alex pieces to go along with it. Ken & Ryu each come with one of Alex legs, Chun li with his torso, Ibuki with Alex head & pelvic body part and finally Remy with his boots. Sota first BAF Street Fighter figure. :)
Here what I did to put Alex together. I started off with ML Piledriver torso, sanded down and taper his waist smaller. Added Savage Dragon forearms & hands. Sculpted gloves, more back muscles, wider lats and bigger traps. Then I attached the torso to DCUC Despero legs & modified the inside waist joint for connection. The boots are from LCBH Marv and head is from Marvel Select Thor with sculpted hair and LCBH Ripclaw ponytail. Finally painted him up in his game colors with his well known war paint face & body features and he was done.
Hopefully I did some justice for this underappreciated Street Fighter in making him in figure form.
