with the release of NECA's official Wasp predator and the fact that it looked A LOT like the custom i had made almost 8 months prior, i decided to revisit my own Wasp and unmask him to maintain a diverse collection. all this entailed was repainting a Classic P1 head and swapping out the masked version :-)

The mask was originally going to be used in the Dead End video, but was eventually scrapped. I made mine using behind the scenes photos that are floating around online for reference. But I made mine before NECA had even announced theirs! :-)

Actually my good man, Wasp was the pred with the silver mask. The one that came out is a completely different pred. He is known as broken tusk.

ok, I concede. however, I will maintain that when searching reference material for an Unmasked Wasp, there is a persistant behind the scenes image that keeps cropping up of a predator alongside Big Red and Son of P2 masquerading as Wasp that looks a lot like this...

Oh yea, Im sure cause its the same exact body suit. They didn't even match the skin tones on the unmasked head to the body lol. I think I read somewhere that Sandy was going to use the actual yellow wasp mask on this version of the character but it 'went missing' the day of the shooting of the film.
