So I found a few more “old” customs I did…after this, back to work on new stuff!
THE MANY FACES OF RICK GRIMES!
So I am one of the few folks who REALLY liked the McFarlane Rick Grimes series 1 TV figures. I LOVED the articulation and head sculpt.
I bought like 8 or 9 of them when they came out (and later sold most of my boxed ones for a MINT!).
As much as I liked the figure, I wanted to make my own versions (my apologies to the purists!).
The first thing I did was fix the eyes…I like the side look, but I want all my figures to look forward, so I changed them…I made them blue…cause I WANTED them blue!
So I sculpted rolled up sleeves for the blue shirted Rick, full sleeves for the brownish-green Rick, I repainted the t-shirt version 3 of Rick and put his top on the series 1 legs. Finally I put his head on a Ron Weasley body from Harry Potter and used hands from a Power Team Elite figure.
