***UPDATED PICTURES*** Hi Realmers, First of all, I wanted to thank Craig Warrack and Glenn Webb for the wonderful customs they have done on the mentioned character. Their work was truly inspirational. I took a Revoltech Zetman figure for its proportions. However, I had to do a significant amount sculpting to achieve the crazy, elongated yet jacked up proportions distinct to this version of Venom. I pretty much re-sculpted the major muscle groups covering a lot of the original sculpt of the base figure. The face, pecs, delts, traps, lats, quads and pretty much everything was sculpted over. But what is really special about the sculpt is that it does not interfere with the articulation and range of motion, as shown in some of the pictures below. I've even sculpted over the original shoulder covers of the holes that accommodate the two upper tentacles via revoltech joints. I also had to fabricate a mount for the two other tentacles. The tentacles are from a re-sculpted set of legs from a McFarlane Ms. Muffet figure. The tentacles can be elongated or shortened depending on what Superior Venom's mood is. Since I am a huge fan of playability, alternate hands and tentacles are removable. Finally, paints are of a black base coat and I had to dry brush three different shades of dark blue to accentuate the musculature. The webbing on Superior Venom's head and upper torso are a mix of white, dark blue, gray and black. Do check out the video review I've uploaded on YouTube, just search for Superior Venom Custom Action Figure. :) God bless ![]() |

At the moment, everything I make is for my collection.
Thanks again.
I used to have a really fancy Dremel a while back but it just gave up.
The one that I use right now is a cheap Dremel knock-off, Newstar.
Bravo!
The feet are hinged and I sculpted the split-clawed toes.
The spider legs are from a McFarlane Ms. Muffet figure. but I had to cut them up, re-sculpt, and put in Revoltech joints.
I've got more info on that in a video review I made in YouTube.
search for "Superior Venom Custom Action Figure" under Noah Arles.
