Continuing with my Days of Future Past collection! It's been a while since I made another, and I finally came across an old ToyBiz Magneto fig.

First I removed his cape and cut his coat tail in half. Then glued half to the other side, as he has them symmetrical in the movie. Then I molded his chest armor, belt buckles, and forearm plating.
Letting that dry, I cut the the fabric cape then glued it to his shoulders and back.
Next I repainted the face and hair to give more wrinkled and white hair to the grey.
I cut out his shoulder plates using cardboard and glued into place. Then painted all the armor using a gloss black, then drybrushed a dark metallic silver. Painted the gloves and belts with black, then buckles in metallic silver.

Very pleased with the result, and can't wait to get to another- hopefully I'll have the entire future team to show off at some point.
