Yet another custom original MOTUC character. When I made this guy, I had in mind a character with similar motivation as Saruman from Lord of the Rings, what with his fear and corruption by Sauron.

Sir Zandar was once the peerless trainer and Weapons Master of the Knights of He. He dedicated his life to the protection of life and the defeat of evil. However, over the years, he was haunted by visions of a spirit named Hordak. Hordak showed Zandar visions of an imminent invasion of the forces of evil on Eternia, one which Zandar despaired that good would never win. In hopes of saving lives, Zandar was deceived into thinking he could find mercy under the service of the Horde. At the Second Ultimate Battleground, Zandar betrayed the Knights of He and the Masters of the Universe to the Horde. However, his master was slain by Skeletor. Now masterless, with Eternia in ruins, Zandar has become convinced only his rule can bring order to the land and has drawn many ruthless warriors to his side to form a new order where power is all. With his prowess and magical weapons, Zandar named himself Sword Lord: Master of Blades- a warrior worth 10 men!
