Leatherhead was never one of my favorite characters, but I always liked his design from the old show/video games a lot. Especially the Cajun accent. I've had the 2012 Leatherhead figure sitting around for a while now, never quite sure how to go about starting him... then just decided to go for it. I'm pretty happy with how he came out.

I started by sanding and washing the figure, then applying the paint. (light green for the belly, regular green for the rest) I used some junky old t-shirts to make his pants and shirt and tried to make them look ripped up as if he lived in a swamp. I also noticed his arm and leg bandages had a... thing connected to them. I thought they'd look cool with some chains attached, as if he just escaped from prison or what have you. Finally, the hat comes from a Woody figure I had lying around. I've made a lot of turtle customs in the past 2 years but this one is probably my favorite so far. I guarantee.
