I picked up a casted Darkhawk head from the Casting Cave some time ago and finally got a chance to put it to good use. I do not know much about this character other than he is awesome looking and that there has not been a Legends scale version of this guy. I pulled elements from Loose Collector's custom Darkhawk and used the Captain Marvel figure as the base. I replaced the lower legs with DCUC Blue Beetle to give it more of a robotic feel and I loved the slim look of the legs. I added the claw from a Wolverine figure. I had a great time sculpting the wings, shoulder pieces, and neck. I originally was going to do a real shiny look but decided to give the silver and blues more of a rusted, worn look. I think the worn look gives any character, well, more character :) I am pleased with how he turned out, I just wish I was a better sculptor. Practice, practice, practice :)
