The Mattel version is pretty decent, except for the lack of a swivel elbow. Added swivel using Retaliation Snake Eyes elbow joints, and replaced the original pea-head with a Dark Knight Rises version.

Oh by the way, have you also tried the lower legs of the TDKR Batman on this like you did for the head?

I saw a lot of the DC Multiverse 1989 Batman Bruce Wayne variant at a store, but not the masked one. I was wonder if putting the Dark Knight Rises Batman head on it is a good idea.

Good mods. I think this figure could use a repaint, maybe a wash to give it some grit.

You know, I was looking at it the other day, and I think you may be right. There are some factory highlights, but they're pretty subtle. A wash would bring out some detail.
