This was a requested project that was agonizing to fix up. I don't think I've ever done this much sculpting on a project. Maybe I have, and just blocked it out. lol I used the Gladiator head, with the fin cut off, to give myself a base for sculpting the helmet. Sculpted, resculpted, sanded, sculpted, sanded. Whew. The wing portions of his helmet were difficult to work out, but I ended up going with plastic pieces. Just cut them to size, dremeled into the helmet, then glued them in place. The blades on his arms are actually sanding attachments for a dremel. Was the best thing I could think of. Agonizing project, but I learned a ton while trying to fix him up. Could definitely see myself fixing him up again soon.
