Gung-Ho Dress Blue (G.I. Joe 30th Anniversary) Custom Action Figure
Started with "the_angelforge" (from ebay) torso which is an awesome repro and upgrade from the original USMC Dress Blue Gung-Ho. Accurate to the original but not to the real USMC Dress Blue uniform tried to close the gap a little by adding the lower part of the Dress Blue top. From the top down it is EPOXY sculpt the arms are Wild-Bill's with EPOXY sculpt the rank from COBRA STICKERS the lower legs some G.I. Joe with, lots of EPOXY sculpt added. The head was made using 25th anniversary Gung-Ho's head minus the top portion adding EPOXY and a little sanding. The cover was made from the original Gung-Ho figure dremeled, EPOXY and refitted to the 25th anniversary head. The shoes are EPOXY, still working on the sword but don't think thats coming along any time soon. Looking at making it out of real metal like the knife from MY Flint Night Force. Please wait... |

Some people wonder if they`ve made a difference in the world, Marines don`t have that problem.
Edit: You may not know this, but I thought I should take this oppurtunity to educate. Marines actually do more than just "guard" things. Think of "The Marines" as the ground force of the Navy, an amphibious assualt force, if you will. Though, they aren't always limited to the Navy, so don't misunderstand. Marines actually perform many, many Military operations. There are many sites out there that you can research for further information.
