I wanted a Zod that had the look of his armor at the beginning of the movie. So I used the armored Jor-El and sculpted Zod's house shield. Painted black all over then dry brushed tarnished steel on armored areas, painted the shield straight silver. finishing touch was a light dry brush of gold. Do not have any material for a cape will have to add that later.
