Growing up in the 70’s I watched Georgia Championship Wrestling every weekend with Gordon Solie (two hours unless the Braves where on)!
I like many kids LOVED Mr. Wrestling II. He was the “good guy” in the mask with the devastating “high knee lift” – okay, in retrospect it wasn’t such a devastating move.
He was my introduction to the concept of a mystery man or superhero outside of comic books and I loved the character.
