DC was calling to me. So, like an addict in withdrawal I jumped on the first project I saw. I picked up an issue of Earth 2 this past week, curious about the new Batman design. And on the very first page I saw a new Superman design instead. I fell in love. I immediately started to work, anxious to get my first rendition of the character complete. I even sculpted the emblem this time around. But, it's been a while since I finished a figure, looked at it proudly, then realized much later that I did something wrong. Here, it was the cape. Apparently the outside is supposed to be black. My bad. But I'm already making him in a different style, so it'll be right on that one. But, this one gives him the bigger build most associate with a Superman custom. And I can't deny it looks good. Went with a Gladiator base, sculpted the emblem, gave him Thor's cape, then attached some chain around his neck. The head was a cast, and I honestly don't know of who or where I got it. Which sucks, because I really love it and want a few more.
