Hi all, I've been lax in making any customs for a while(and not coincidentally, it mirrors the last year of being a first time father. There's just not enough time or money for too much hobbying =( )But every so often the urge takes me over, and I can't resist, even if it's just a small, easy custom like Mordo, here.

Head - SW Legacy Count Dooku

Body - YJ Ra's Al Ghul

I took apart Ra's (took off his cape, and also his arms and head via boil & pop)I painted up the parts, the sleeves and belt got a mixture of Testor's flat green and a touch of metallic gold for a textured look and, imo, a nice color. I gave Dooku a black hairdo, with blue dry brushing, ever so lightly. I had to completely redo the neck and neck-joint, replacing the original with a very small screw, which manages to approximate a ball-joint nicely. I then applied those black collar spikey things he always has, reattach the cape and I think I have a decent MU Baron Mordo, at least until/unless Hasbro gives me a better one.

Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy him as much as I do! =)

(ps) Yes, Baron Mordo has invaded Bikini Bottom, he's gotten tired of Dr. Strange kicking his tail, and is looking for easier meat. That, and my niece asked me to use her background =)

Thanks much! If you decide to make your own, let me give you a tip. I realized when I went to display him next to my MU Doc Strange(and defenders) that the YJ buck was about a quarter inch too tall, towering over MU guys. So I trimmed about a quarter inch( a tad less maybe) from his shins, right where the shin meets the foot, hidden by sculpted wrinkles in the boot. I also used a tiny peg to make an erzatz swivel joint in the ankle, and he now fits in perfectly with my MU displays. It even makes thee leg look a bit less thin, making the whole custom appear a bit less gangly than in my pics. I will update them eventually, but thought you might like the tip, in case you make one. Thanks again for the kind words!

Thanks! The back-drop was from a ceramic paint-yourself Sponge-Bob and Patrick I painted with my niece.
