This is a Superboy villain for a fan fiction that I have been working on. This character is Ghost, a teenaged crook with the power to render himself invisible, intangible, and/or transparent at will.
To do this figure, I first took a DC Universe Classics Young Justice Superboy figure and, using the boil and pop method, removed the head and hands. Next, I repeated the boil and pop method process on a DC Universe Classics Spectre for the head, and a DC Universe Classics Young Justice Kid Flash for the hands. After using paint remover on the Superboy body to remove the “S” symbol and the gray lines of the solar suit, I commenced a full repaint of the bodysuit in Testors Model Masters Flat White. After giving it two coats of flat white, I gave the entire body two coats of Flat Clear. Next, I used my Dremel to modify the Kid Flash hands around the wrist joint so that they would seamlessly fit with the Superboy arms. Once that was completed, I gave both hands two coats of flat white, followed by two coats of flat clear, and then attached them to the arms. Next, took the ice shaped poncho from a DC Universe Classics Captain Cold and commenced a full two coat repaint in flat white, followed by two coats of flat clear (I used Captain Cold's poncho since it looked semi-tattered, like something that a ghostly character would wear). With the flat white and flat clear now dry, I slipped the poncho over the neck. Next, I gave the hood of the Spectre head a full two coat repaint in flat white, followed by two coats of flat clear. Lastly, with the flat white and flat clear of the hood now dry, I used the boil and pop method to attach the head to the body, and TA-DA...Ghost, enemy of Superboy!!!
Please let me know what you guys think of him, and as always, comments are appreciated.
