Barry Blaze is a scientist who studies quantum physics. His lab was hit by lightning and his experiments blew up on him and he gained access to the Speed Force. He was successful saving others as a hero, but he can’t do anything to save his mother who is in a coma after being hit by a stray bullet. He knows the consequences of time travelling and didn’t want to take the risk.

One night, a man in black suit approached him and made an offer. His mother will recover and be back to normal but the cost will be his soul. Desperate, he agreed but he didn’t know that the man was Mephisto and upon agreement of the deal, the spirit of vengeance Zarathos was bonded to him.

BB’s mother lives, but not long enough because of a car crash incident. He was furious as Mephisto appeared in front of him. Mephisto explained that the agreement was for her mother to recover from coma, not save her from dying. Due to this, BB’s body became engulfed in blue and white flame and he vowed to take revenge on Mephisto’s deception and prevent any demon activity so that others won’t suffer the same fate as him.

He is now Speed Phantom. The spirit of vengeance with the power of the Speed Force.

The over all look is the opposite of Amalgam's Speed Demon,
where they used Ghost Rider's design and in Flash colorways.
For this custom, I went for Elseworld Flash design in classic Ghost rider colors.


I used aves apoxie to sculpt on Toybiz Bullseye and painted it with Tamiya Acrylics.
