Here’s my original character, a custom fusion of two powerful comic book villains. One villain is a man who was implanted with a Kryptonite heart, Michael Corben also known as Metallo. The other gained his powers when he discovered the gem of Cyttorak, Cain Marko otherwise known as the Juggernaut.

So, what do you get when you combine these two heavy hitters? What if… the gem of Cyttorak was actually a form of Kryptonite?

The amalgamated version’s name would be Corben Marko. He was transformed into an indestructible cyborg through both science and magic. The ancient Kryptonite Gem of Cyttorak powers this part man, part machine. His heart of stone is an ultimate power source that is both supernatural and radioactive. He is unstoppable. He is The Metallonaut!

X-men Juggernaut with the chest opened up.
Kryptonite and head from DC Direct Metallo with custom left green eye since the figure only had one.
Arc reactor chest piece of Whiplash from Iron Man 2 was used to house the green gem within core of his chest.

I painted the metal arms and legs silver, flesh on the skin, and light brown on his hair which was originally blond.

I removed the plastic sticking out of the back of the base figure, which was for an action feature to move the arms. I ended up making a hole so that light can shine through to illuminate the Kryptonite in front.

In the last picture, it’s The Metallonaut vs. the two men of steel: Colossus and Superman.
