I still love the lame excuse that Capcom came up with for why he was white in the original Street Fighter: His skin was pale because he was sick. It bugs me when video game companies try to retcon their lack of ethnic diversity in earlier titles (SNK did the same thing with Duck King). Instead of turning their white characters black, they should just acknowledge that they should have made more black characters to begin with.
