The second of my "better likeness" Jean Greys, as she's seen in the first X-Men movie.
First I took the head of a Marvel Legends X3 Jean and cut it down to fit the pony tail hair of the original figure. Then I removed the head of the original and molded a new neck. After placing the new head on, I repainted the neck and face for accurate likeness, then added the new hair and gave it a red finish (as the original figure's hair was just brown.)
The body was a simple repaint- the torso and arms/legs were different finishes, so I used a high-gloss black for her uniform, then a slightly more matte black for her boots and gloves to make them pop. After that I fixed all of her green piping, and wa-la- movie accurate Jean.
