Well, this figure represents a ton of work and frustration for me. I accepted a commission I shouldn't have, the guy wanted Sasuke, but wanted him really anime looking, which it not my forte... you guys probably know I like more realistic, gritty stuff, but I thought it would be a fun challenge. It wasn't. I enlisted my mom to help me with the shirt, but she had tons of trouble with it, never havig done anything so small. I made the skirt and belt, not much trouble. I sanded off the front of the boots and sculpted toes, made an energy effect, made the hands interhchangeable, sculpted the upper calves, modified the sword and scabbard, and finally made the three different heads. Thanks to OJJ's excellent guidance, I was finally able to cast a head and have it turn out. So I made three casts and sculpted the hair on each one, finally wrapped it all up with a paintjob, trying to achieve an anime look with more solid colors.

Anyway, all of this went on for a couple of months that happened to coincide with a couple of the hardest and most stressful months I've had at my real job. Anyway, I ended up telling the guy I couldn't finish it the way he wanted me to. No hard feelings, and I respect his opinion, he wanted me to make several changes which I was fine with, but then he wanted me to resculpt the heads, and I just couldn't make myself do it. I don't think he was wrong, and he didn't hurt my feelings or anything, I just simply can't make myself work on this figure any more. I just don't care about anime or this character enough...
