Head 1- Resaurus Special Forces figure
Head 2- Boba Fett head cast from Casting Cave

The idea that I had was to make an Episode 7 Boba Fett who survived the Sarlacc and is out to kill Han for knocking him into it in the first place. I figured there would be heavy scarring and decided to go with 2 interchangeable heads and a helmet.

The first head is a masked balaclava that would be worn under the helmet. The mask is similar to military special forces commandos. The head is completely removable from the neck post, and is fully articulated on the head joint. He can look up, down, left or right like any other high quality figure.

The second head is what I'd imagine he looked like without anything covering his face. This head shows heavy damage from being partially digested by a creature that lives in the Great Pit of Carkoon. The acid did damage to all of Fett's body, and sores, open wounds and scarring are all present on his face. Boba Fett never wanted to show his face because he didn't want to be mistaken for a random clone, and now he wont show it from the damage.

The cool thing that I used that was different was a new Citadel paint. Its a technical called "Blood For the Blood God." Its a red paint that looks exactly like blood. If you put on a heavy amount, its dark and if you smear or go light its bright. It dries glossy and looks like wet blood. I used this on the open sores on his head and it came out great. I love this stuff.

Other aint details were added to highlight the decay, grime, blood and gore that are featured. The figure was hand painted using ,Citadel, Model Masters, Formula P3 and other high quality paints. Additional damage to the armor was added to the plating and helmet to reflect what would be his look after crawling out of the pit, and appearing on the screen for Episode 7.

There is a ton of detail to the sculpt so repainting, dry brushing, washes, and advanced paint techniques were done to make the line work pop. Some areas are glossy, some flat and some are metallic.

He was given a heavy black wash and small amounts of dry brushing to make the suit look more lived in.

He still needed weapons!! He is equipped with his standard pistol that is housed in his right holster. He also has his rifle for longer range targets. (You don't get close to a wookie)

His jetpack is removable and the cloth tunic remains draped over his left shoulder. Both were dirtied up to make them look less pristine.

That's about it. Good luck dremeling out these heads. I went right through a stormtrooper the other day. Wrecked it.
Thanks for looking!

Love unmasked versions of characters; I'm not quite sure Boba would be so extremely scarred but I really love the version with the fabric undermask!

Thanks. Who knows how he'd look and how much damage was done from bounty hunting from the age of 12 on.

That is true; I guess the unmasked version of Boba I'm used to seeing is the one Hasbro did for one of their 3 3/4 inch scale figures of the character, which was just a more scuffed up Jango. I do like your concept that the stomach acid of the Sarlaac pretty much melting his face off; that is a badass idea!

Yeah I don't like the whole Jango clone thing. I kind of get the feel that the dude doesn't care what he looks like, scars or not because he doesn't want to look like every other clone.
