Hello, I am Spartacus. I bring you a custom of the S.H. Figuarts Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Green Ranger. If you are a fan of the green ranger, you know that during the Green Ranger's appearances(as well as the other rangers), there have been a few inconsistencies with his costume. One of the most noticeable ones is the differences in his shield in certain scenes. In American Footage, Green Ranger had a soft, flimsy, at times alittle too big, shield. In Japan(the original sentai footage and show, 'Zyuranger') he had a firm, almost foam like, perfectly fitted shield(which is the one the figuart shield is designed after).

For Laughs, I thought Id try to make an American footage shield. I took a soft foam sheet from Michaels and a chrome shiny gold hair cap from hair store. I cut them both into the shield form and glued it together. I added some rubber bands for the arm straps

(Just so you know, the original shield is still intact and being customized into a 'ZYU2' shield... Green Ranger had a few different looks, lol

I added the US shield to the figure in addition to a new paint job done to make the figure..."greener". I also added the 'helmet clips' on the sides of the helmet as it was shown to have on SOME occasions(from both american and sentai footage, lol.

Anyhoo, it came out better than I expected, But im gonna try it again. I still did not have the ideal stuff I wanted, but hey it was worth a try. I added a real pic of the American green ranger costume for comparison.
