Last week I saw a "leaked" concept art drawing of the new Batsuit from the upcoming movie and liked it enough to make it into a custom figure. I added a little bit of flair to it to make it a little bit better for fighting Superman.

So the first thing I did was use the new Batman from Arkham Origins and redo it completely. I ripped off the head, which was way way to small and replaced his stubby arms with huge armored gauntlets that look like Batman would use them in a fight with Superman.

The Batman head is now large enough for a 6 inch scale figure and sports a new paint job that includes facial stubble and pupils for the eyes. The movie Batman character never has the blank white eyes like in the comic.

Next he was given an alternate head that looks enough like Ben Affleck. With no 6 inch scale Affleck head out yet, I went with one that had a similar jawline and other features. The head was painted with facial stubble and major detailing.

Both heads are interchangeable using magnets that attach to the Batman body, so you can display him masked or unmasked.

I usually give my Batman figures a batarang, but lets face it, they aren't going to do anything against Superman. So instead he has a piece of Kryptonite that fits perfectly in his hands.

Painted using Citadel primer, and was hand painted using Citadel, Model Masters, Formula P3 and other high quality paints. There is a ton of detail to the sculpt so repainting, dry brushing, washes, and advanced paint techniques were done to make the line work pop. Some areas are glossy, some flat and some are metallic. The colors are different shades of blacks, gunmetals, grays, yellows, golds, browns and chromed silver.

I'll post more photos on Facebook and a link there to the Youtube page where you can see my review too.
Thanks for looking guys.

I'm very curious as to what this piece of concept art that you saw looks like! Great custom; the Arkham Origins look is my favourite for Batman so far and if Batman does indeed look like this in the new film, I'll be a happy camper.

Thanks, I had a look at it. It's by Stephen Scott, who worked on the comic adaptation of the Dark Knight prologue. The artwork appears to be based on the Injustice Batsuit design, particularly the cowl, and doesn't appear to be an "official" piece of concept art but is still cool.

Thanks. I know about that old ML. but it's not an unmasked Affleck head. That's what I wanted for the Bruce Wayne head but there's nothing except an old 7 inch scale Armageddon figure that looks awful.
