Hey Everyone! I always loved the NES classic Kid Icarus and after recently playing it I decided to try and make Pit in the vain of the old school looking Pit. So I took a Marvel 3.5 inch Hercules, stripped him down and started sculpting. This is my first human head sculpt from scratch! I cut wings off some goofy pegasus I found at Micheals crafts and sculpted cloth around them. The bow and quiver are repainted from a Hawkeye figure. Lastly the Eggplant Wizard is totally sculpted from scratch. I went with the Captain N cartoon version. Hope you guys like my little friend here!
Being a gamer customizer..I really can appreciate what you done here.everything about it looks cool & that facial expression you sculpted give pitt some personality..
Very cool and my top pick for this challenge! Pit was also something that I was considering making for the contest (that or the evil doppelganger version of him, Putt, from the Gameboy sequel), so, I'm glad to see somebody else brought him to life. The Eggplant Wizard is awesome too--the Captain N version was always better looking that the ones in the video games anyway, which were skinnier and wore robes. A little eggplant Pit mini figure would be a fun addition to complete this set.
Awesome job! Great idea with the sculpting on this Herc body, without the muscle definition and making it smoother, this really looks like one of those old school "less-pixalted" bodies. You've captured that very nice, A+++!
