What is the Man Of Steel without Kryptonian man's best friend? I found this dog in a parts bin at a vintage toy store in the DFW area and thought it was a perfect likeness in size, shape and breed. He was originally grey so I gave him a full body repaint of white. The cape was pulled from a Superman Returns figure and trimmed to the proper length. The collar is a Proto Suit Bruce Wayne leg strap painted gold. I was really proud of the dog tag, though. I cut the belt buckle and a little bit of the stomach from a Superman Returns figure that didn't have waist articulation. I cut and sanded it to the bare minimum, punch a hole in the top and painted it gold. But, in case any of your are wondering, I have no intention of making a Streaky Returns, Comet Returns, or Beppo Returns figure.
