John Constantine has only recently become one of my favorite comic book characters, and that is largely thanks to the excellent Justice League Dark comic. Unfortunately there have only been a couple of Constantine action figures made and, well... they're not that great. So I decided to try my hand at making one!

This started as a Spirit figure and, after a much more intensive repaint process than I expected, finally became suitable for the character. I searched high and low for a head which resembled the character without needing any modification and, to my surprise, Aquaman fit the bill.

The protection spell was made from Hot Glue, twistie ties and an extra hand. I dry brushed blue acrylic paint onto it and then sealed it using Mod Podge acrylic sealer.
