The Deadliest Assassins in the East

Such an awesome movie with awesome character designs. This figure has been on my list for forever now, but when the contest was announced, I knew it was time.

Head: McFarlane Figure Headcast (used one with mean expression)

Sculpt: Aves Apoxie Sculpt.

Retains all articulation. Attached the head and then sanded away a lot of the surface from top to bottom. This creates a rough surface for the Aves to adhere to better, and it keeps all of the costume dimensions in scale. I sculpted the entire costume as movie accurate as possible. I sculpted the hat out of polymer clay and baked. Did some major tooling to get it to fit the head just right. Then made a mold of it and cast a plastic copy to attach to the head. I noticed that their mask is tied in the back of the head, so I sculpted the ties out of flexible sculpey and attached. I could not find a cape I was satisfied with that really fit the look, so I decided to sculpt one. I wanted it to move with his pose-ability, so it is attached by magnets. Sanded some rough spots and painted this joker black on top of black to finish him off.
