After one finale battle with The shredder. Master splinter was killed by the shredder. In a end result. The turtles split up. 20 years later Raphael being the most effected by what happened decided he wanted to become more powerful then ever. So he decided to work for the shredder. So then clan started to do experiments with hope of making him stronger faster and virtually unstoppable. He began to mutate. With the success of the experiments. Raphael killed the shredder and became more influenced from the darkness in his heart. He then began to hunt down his Unexpecting brothers.
This is my incarnation of how adult Raphael would look. Using a wolverine figure for base lots of fodder and sculpted over and given a nice detailed paint job. Dry brushed many times with different shades of green. To make him look angry as much as a turtle can. The sword is a whopping 7 inches long for him to strike down he enemies with deadly force. The armor represents working or training with the shredder. I would like to hear your opinion on the story and custom. Also if this figure dose well. I will continue to make the rest of the team including shredder. Enjoy
This is a really nice custom, making a ninja turtle from a Wolverine buck takes lots of skill, and you my friend continue to grow your skills everyday, really phenomenal work here man.
Great job on this one bro. Very nice original head! I browsed through your work and looks like a nice portfolio being built up here. Keep them coming brother.
This is terrific. You did such a stellar job here, all around. The concept and design areoriginal and executed brilliantly and the photos are beautiful for me. This was an easy 5 star vote for me.
Well, no matter what some people's opinion of who should and shouldn't have won is, I just wanted to stop by and say great work. The head sculpt is great! Awesome job!!
Thanks man. This means a lot. But I'm happy that I did as well as I did with all the amazing customs that were in this contest. That samurai wolverine was very unexpected entry but a well deserved win. I'm glad he got first and much respect to HAC
Voting ends for the Ninja II Custom Contest (customizer revealed). - Wednesday, October 23, 2013
I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I had taken more pics with the sword but I thought it would have taken away from the figure. Also the shell has customs spikes I couldn't show off
your recipe is really fantastic! great paint job! what about story? amazing! I was seeing all the scenes like a movie while I was reading! I hope you'll do rest of the team to know how the story will go on!
Very interesting, yet artistically well done. There are lots of things to like about this custom. I think the look is quite different (in a good way) from what I'm used to. Raphael has been my favorite Turtle since the beginning of time, and I am very picky about custom versions of him, but this I must say, is very cool in its own way. I like the finishing touches of detail and color. Very unique, very dark, and very creative.
Though the back story tells of him becoming "powerful"......Just a small suggestion on my part would be that he could use much bigger, beefier arm biceps to truly give him the "more powerful" and "much stronger" look and feel to it. That would have made this perfect.
Otherwise, everything seems to work well for this custom. It has many features that are bold and really stand out, which to me, are not too much, and is very cool as a result. I'm glad to see another cool Raphael custom added to the database.

I really wanted this to win the contest.
In my book, this custom is the true winner.
Unlike Wolverine, Raphael atleast has an
ACTUAL ninja background.
The winning custom was cool, but not as
cool as this. If I could have, I would have
voted a million votes for this.
