Hi guys,
Here a blast from the past.
This is my custom Marvel Legend version of the villain of Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent.

Maleficent was made from a Toy Biz Marvel Legends Elektra. Her head was subtly modded. Her horns, collar, and staff were sculpted from Kneadilite. Her robe are fabric which was hand-sown to the base. It was the most challenging aspect of this custom. It took a lot of time trying to get it to come close to Maleficent's classic robes. It was an eduction to say the least.

She was given the usual hand painted finish of model Master Acrylic Paints.

Hey, fantastic work!

I just did one of her for a commission, and she was one of the most challenging figures I'd ever made, for it sounds like similar reasons - sewing! That was new to me, on this scale anyways, and I really couldn't find anything applicable pattern-wise anywhere online. That and getting the symmetry of her horns, I had to redo those a couple of times until I was happy. SO frustrating, but ultimately worth it. Yours is one of the best I've seen yet, and a new favorite - well done!!!

I guess the nice things about soft goods robe is that all you need to do is get the head right and you're there.
That and the collar. It's a great head and it nails her look, which has always been a favorite. Great job. Really looks sharp.
