Came up with this idea earlier this year when planning a project for a super star customer of mine. Was a bit disappointed when I saw Hot Toys' 1/6th scale table and Iron Man suit parts (I collect Hot Toys too) because I truly felt this was my own idea, ha! But there you go, it still felt good to try something similar in 1/12th scale!

Anyway, this is a mix of original bits and bob's, fodder, sculpt and a lot of paint, glue and just about everything I could throw at it. Basically, it's sort of a mix of film and artistic liscence with tech I thought Tony might have in his basement workshop. Took several months evenings and weekends (whilst working full time) and includes three figures: a spic and span Mark IV repaint, a battle damaged Mark III and a Tony Stark figure with a custom unpainted cast from Glassman (cheers dude!). Finally there's bits of a disassembled Mark II for Tony to work on!

The dio includes miniature tools such as a spanner, wrench etc that Tony can hold, a tool box, drinks cans and various digital displays of his work.

The figures (which I'll upload separately) have swap-able parts (Tony's head can go on the mark IV as well as multiple hands that fit the Mark IV and an additional Mark III arm. The arm can be swapped for Tony's own right arm and attaches with tiny magnets. Each of the major pieces of the diorama have magnets installed so that each figure (which also have magnets installed in their feet) can attach.

I had so much fun doing this. As ever, thanks for looking!

Jaiman

Cheers! Not sure if it's authentic (but thanks) as it's all sort of made up but it was def fun to make!

It does look like it really could be a workshop, it's got stuff strewn around it just right and the materials and textures are very realistic!
