Ryu Hayabusa, the "ultimate ninja", is the heir to the Dragon lineage and is holder of the legendary Dragon Sword. I took inspiration from the old and new Ninja Gaiden games, plus a little artistic license to create my figure. When you've got a tiny 8-bit character on screen, there's always a little imagination involved. So this is more a bit of how I had envisioned him in my head as a kid.

I cut off the hood, glued it down, then sculpted some folds over the seam to make it look like it belonged. The head was an easy swap since both had the exact same neck ball. The arms and shins required some modding to get attached. Removed the Wolverine claws, then I sculpted the bracers, hand protection, greaves, pants below the knee, sandal straps, sword holster, and the belt and collar for his ninja uniform. I modded the sword by wrapping some plastic around the handle and sculpting the pommel to keep it in place. Then I gave it a nice fresh paint job along with everything else.
