I like the armor on his shoulder, but I think that you could have expanded on that motif, on other areas of his body, because that would have provided some contrast and dynamism to his predominately white color scheme. As-is, he's a bit too plain in appearance. The whip and flame are good choices for accessories, but, I'm having a hard time envisioning a Christian/Judaic angel ever employing nunchuku. Aside from looking awkward, that's a weapon of Okinawan (Japanese) origin, and Christianity/Judaism has never been big in Japan. I also appreciate that your custom displays some ethnic diversity, as it's rare to see angels depicted as anything other than Caucasian.

Thanks for the compliment, and I am sorry that he is overall too plain for your tastes. I am very happy with how he turned out.
As for the Nunchuku, I figure that if the angels can be diverse, then so can their weapon choice. I believe in in a God that transcends traditional lines in the "sand", and for the record, Christianity, is on the rise in both Japan and China.

I do think maybe a blackwash or something like that would've made the wings stand out more & given the figure more contrast, but it is a good looking piece. I faintly notice some gold highlights to the musculature, but a close-up and/or more pics would've helped as well. More photos probably would've increased votes also...
