Whats up everybody!
Ahhh yes, a custom for my personal collection!
So i recently started watching the old X-men Animated show again and i was motivated to make the whole team!
For this custom i used the MU version of him as a guide. Cyclops here was made out of the Bucky Cap with the lower legs of ML Fantomex.
I sculpted all of the details that are not from the original base figure. I am especially proud of the hair because it was the first hair job that i did that actually turned out good haha (i got a tip to use "ProCreate" for hair and it works amazingly!).
One Paintjob later (a LOT of dry brushing was used for the blues) and he was complete

Hope you all enjoy!

Great Cyclops. I've been wanting to make this one and his current Uncanny look. Is the the procreate you used the ipad app and how does it help cause I would like to find a good way to do hair.

Thanks a lot man!
Actually the procreate that I used is a two part apoxie.
It is more rubbery than normal Aves clay (or whatever clay is out there) so it is easier to shape thin pieces into strands of hair without it breaking. The best part of it is that you can mess with the proportions of the clay when mixing to get a more rubbery and bendy finish so that it can have some give and poseability.
The way that I did the hair was by making thin strands then placing them on the head individually (it would also help to group it to about four to six strands and place them on) then you use a sculpting tool to shape it to look more like hair. Hope this helps!
