Yes, seeing Threepio customized into a gimp-dominatrix is hilarious, but there are some major things going on with this characters psyche and appearance that made this choice a no brainer. In a weird way C3PO is already playing the part of a submissive oppressed character who doubtfully follows along with his masters endeavours. His movements are limited and stiff. Already giving off the appearance that he is clad in some sort of bondage. He's forced to do things that he winds up regretting at first, but the goal is always an explosive pay off. (pun intended) Threepio was repainted with glossy black, then double thick clear high gloss paint to really make him shine. The spikes were modified jewelry beads. His red gag ball was also gloss treated and made from a craft button. The jewels are also from the jewelry section from the craft store. Hope you guys laughed as much as I did while making him!
HA! Thanks again man! "Lord Krang/Vader" was actually meant to be uploaded to this contest as my 3rd entry. I was staying at a friends house and he had some reaaally good top shelf whiskey and I guess I was too sauced and I goofed up when trying to upload him to the contest. I accidentally uploaded him to the showcase instead. woop
When it comes to "shenanigans" - which means silly or mischievous behavior, this custom is the champ! It was the only one (along with Batman without Suit?? by Customcave)that understood the contest parameters and delivered. Basically it was taking any character and pranking it! Think of shenanigans as being punk'd - that would be the modern term these days. And it's totally awesome/hilarious imagining C-3P0 getting himself into these kinda jams
That's a rather strange, albeit interesting, way to re-interpret C-3P0. While that type of fetish thing isn't my cup of tea, I think you did a good job with the concept and execution.

In terms of fitting the "Shenanigans" theme, this takes the cake.
