I wanted to reuse the ML Magneto's boots on this one. I hate doing the sort of costume detail that are on his boots and gloves so if there's a chance to cannibalize the original ones then I usually go for it. I chose to use WWE Elite Ricky Steamboat's lower body because his double knees allowed me to swap in the ML Magneto lower legs with the boots. I mashed it with the upper body of a red based DCUC figureIt so I wouldn't have to worry about paint rub.

It turned out to take more time and effort to get Steamboat's waist to match up to the upper body because the DCUC waist is thinner and shallower. In the end I would have saved more time and headaches if I just used a DCUC body all the way and did the boot details instead of this kitbash. And it might have flowed better proportionally too because I think there's something off about the leaner muscular upper body compared to the thicker and softer looking legs. Oh well, at least the kitbash gave a bit more unique a body than a straight use of a DCUC.
