Hi everyone..Ken may be my favorite Street Fighter to play with but when Street Fighter 2 first came out..Blanka was my first choice.
So when Sota put out these great Street Fighter figures,I was curious to see how Blanka would turn out.Sota did make a cool looking Blanka,but I always felt he lacked that intimidating presence that Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior had.I remembered at the stand off just before fighting him,Blanka looked mean,breathing heavily like he want to rip his opponet head off.Well this is what I did to make Classic Blanka.I used ML Venom upperbody combined it with ML Beast Legs.Then I sculpted Venom chest bigger with some mass because Venom is flat chested,sculpted hair on top of chest,forearms & front legs.Carefully sculpted some shorts & shackle rings around the joints.I didn't want to lose any of Beast great legs articulation.For the head,I used beast & sota blanka hair.Finally I applied 5 layers of different colors of green to add some depth to his skin tone. Painted shorts and his fiery hair & he was done.
