Something a little different to what I usually do. As some of you may know I recently rediscovered my love for M.A.S.K toys and have been steadily building a collection of the ones I wish I'd had as a kid. Well my collecting has bought me several duplicate figures and i soon began thinking of customs I could make from them. This one stemmed from the stripes down the side of the pants, I just couldn't get Han out of my head every time I saw them so I began.

Han Solo an independent "vehicle procurement engineer". He is neither on the side of M.A.S.K or V.E.N.O.M. Instead he offer his services to the highest bidder, often double crossing both factions in order to double his profit.

Here's his recipe

Head = Heroclix Han Solo, Dremmel to fit.

Body, arms and upper legs = Calhoun Burns, sanded down and resculpted almost entirely.

Boots = Maximus Mayhem, all detail sanded off.

Just a fun little side project to work on whilst waiting for others to dry etc. Really pleased with how he came out and I'm happy to have him among my newest collection. Thanks for looking and there's more to come soon. Till next time............

Thaks bud, I had to resist adding some details in order to make him fit in with the simple style of the others. I really wanted him to have eyes for example but it would just look wrong next to the others.

Aw, man! This really brings me back, I used to love that show, and I even had the Boulder Hill headquarters play-set(though only one or two vehicles, my mom was weird, lol) Am I alone in thinking the figures and vehicles should have been of a scale with GI Joes of the era? That way we could have mixed and matched(like I do now with various 3.75' super hero lines like Spidey, MU and and the marvel movie lines) Han here looks great, any chance of a Millennium Falcon given the M.A.S.K. treatment?

Haha, well you were lucky to have boulder hill mate, me and my brother only had some of the smaller vehicles, vampire, condor and I think we maybe had firefly. It would have been good if they were to scale with the other lines but the vehicles would have had to have been immense, the thing I love about them is in their vehicle mode they look like accurate vehicles, I think they'd have to simplify them a lot at that scale. Which leads me to the falcon, in the films it easily fit 4 people plus two droids in the cockpit, 3.75" scale only two.... at a push. I'd love to convert one to m.a.s.k one day, maybe if I find one cheap enough.

True, they would have had to have been big, but GI Joe & StarWars vehicles were big, and they were awesome, but I guess prohibitively expense for average kids. I only ever had a rattler and a Tie Interceptor, and you're right I was lucky to have them & Boulder Hill! Yeah the Falcon would probably be pricey, but one can always hope to find a deal. Cheers

Cheers bud , I actually found sculpting this easier than sculpting on the 3.75" scale, no idea why
