Hello Realmers! Today we have a Young Justice Superboy done up in the more realistic DC Universe style.

I started with a YJ Superboy figure and sculpted all pant details, and added some boots from a wrestling figure. I added some sleeve and neck trim for the shirt, and the head is a beast boy head that I modified and made a cast of. I think the head suits Superboy perfectly.

The owner requested to have him with his power patch on, and after brainstorming I came up with the idea of embedding a small magnet in his right arm, and using magnetic sheet for the patches. That way they can be put on and taken off whenever you like. Constructed a sliding container to hold the patches, it can store an additional 3-4 patches.

Gave him a stand from Man of Steel that I repainted into a simple red and black motif for Superboy. Used several layers of acrylics to add depth to the pants, and wrapped him up the rest of the way in acrylics with the occasional enamel wash here and there.
