Hi guys, like all of you grown up between last 80's and early 90's, I'm a great fan of TMNT. When I found a cheaper ML Bishop I saw in it the perfect base to make a ninja turtle. It is as muscolar as much articulated. I cut off all straps from bishop an resculpted every detail with paper and glue. I managed to have all 4 turtles in one giving it removable bands with different color and eyes shape. As my spawn figure I saved each point of articulation. Recipe: base: ML Bishop; head: totally resculped with paper and vinil glue; shell: some plastic from a postal package, spiedini's sticks for edge; belt: elastic wire (to be good holster for weapons); weapons: spiedini's sticks, plastic of DVD pack, glue and paper; paint job: different shade of acrilic green, temper brown, blue paint pen, acrilic red, acrilic purple, each color mixed with acrilic gold to give shiny. layer of glue and water to protect. I was ispired to the best caracteristics of different TV versions of TMNT. skin tone from classic series; belt and bandages from movies; head and shape from 2003 cartoons, dreamwave version and some cool fan picture from the web. I hope you enjoy this custom. I will very fine and pleased if some other realmer take ispiration using my same base. bye bye! ![]() |
