Philip Reardon was a security guard in Gotham City who was blinded in a warehouse explosion. When a doctor reconnected Reardon's optic nerves to his fingertips, allowing him to see with his fingers, he became the Ten-Eyed Man. The base body is a DC Universe Classics Bronze Tiger, which worked well because it was already orange. The head is a cast of DCUC Aquaman, and the hands are from DCUC Toyman. I based my custom on his appearance in Man-Bat #2, so I included a jetpack and a whip. The jetpack was made using dry erase markers and Apoxie Sculpt, with a dowel that plugs into a hole in the figures belt. The jetpack is removable. The whip is just braided string with electrical tape for a handle. The rest of the added details were sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt.
This is really Great! There were a lot of great customs in this contest, but I didn't get to comment yet, (I had meant to sooner) but when I 1st saw this it made me research the character and you did a SERIOUSLY GREAT job with this! I Love how loyal you were to the look and that you picked such a bizzare, obscure character. That was a bold move, my friend! Well done!
